About the Maldives Wellness Experience and Travel Symposium (An Island Hotel Conference)
The Maldives Wellness Experience and Travel Symposium 2026 edition is envisaged as an annual event for thought-leaders in the fields of destination marketing, hospitality branding, hoteliers, practitioners in the wellness economy and entrepreneurs over two days in a scenic location in Laamu Atoll. The first day of the event will consist of a conference with keynotes and panel discussions. The full day conference will end with a networking dinner on the beach followed by light entertainment.
The second day of the event will include guided wellness experience sessions and excursions and tours throughout the atoll. Some of the experiences you can try at the event will include sound bathing, guided water sports and water based therapies, beach walking, snorkeling and cultural excursions to ancient ruins and knowledge sharing sessions of indigenous wellness practices in the Maldivian atolls. These excursions are designed to take you into the heart of Laamu Atoll, which is believed to have been where the first inhabitants settled in the archipelago over 4000 years ago. Ruins of this past are evident in the islands of atoll, some dating back to the pre-Islamic era.
Delegates to the Maldives Wellness Experience and Travel Symposium (An Island Hotel Conference)
can book the wellness experience sessions and guided excursions – of which some will be complimentary and some paid with limited slots – at the time of registration for the event.
