LIME Wellbeing: Lifestyle Inspired, Mindfully Expressed

Niva Hotels and Resorts’ signature wellbeing concept, LIME Wellbeing brings together nature-based therapies, intuitive touch and a sense of unhurried ease across its resorts. Designed to help guests slow down, release tension and leave feeling lighter, grounded and renewed, LIME Wellbeing weaves traditional practices with modern techniques, creating a journey that feels as natural as the islands themselves.

Across Niva Hotels & Resorts, the LIME Wellbeing experience is anchored by rituals curated by Aromatherapy Associates, Margaret Dabbs London for hand and foot care, Obsidian for Men and Cochine. ELEMIS is also available exclusively at Niva Velassaru, where advanced technology brings a results-driven dimension to the spa experience.

Yet there is no one-size-fits-all approach here. The LIME Wellbeing philosophy remains consistent, while each island brings its own landscape, traditions and sense of place to the experience.

At Niva Kurumba, Niva Labriz and Niva Dhigali, LIME Wellbeing’s spas are immersed in the island landscape, surrounded by tropical greenery and the natural rhythms of land and sea. At Niva Dhigali, the spa is cocooned within lush jungle, with treatments in outdoor spaces and beach yoga designed to bring guests closer to the island’s natural serenity. At Niva Labriz, treatments are shaped by Silhouette Island’s granite peaks, forest and ocean, with Creole botanicals and locally sourced herbs, oils and plants woven into the experience.

Niva Kurumba draws particularly deeply on Maldivian traditions, with signature treatments incorporating locally grown herbs, sand poultices and island-made coconut oil. The resort also offers Dhivehi Beys, traditional Maldivian healing practices, alongside an Overwater Private Spa, allowing guests to retreat into a more secluded experience surrounded by the lagoon.

At Niva Velassaru, the relationship with the ocean takes centre stage. Its overwater LIME Wellbeing spa is a place to surrender to the horizon, with treatment rooms above the turquoise lagoon, a hydro infinity pool and relaxation spaces suspended above the water. Beyond the spa, wellbeing incorporates Reformer Pilates and Barre offering mindful movement, while ELEMIS BIOTEC facials combine advanced technology with expert therapist techniques.

At Niva Kuramathi, LIME Wellbeing sits at the water’s edge, with treatment rooms extending over the ocean. Here, contemporary therapies sit alongside Ayurveda and ancient Maldivian healing, including Veli Bon’di, a ritual using a warm sand poultice infused with locally sourced herbs, while meditation, breathwork and mindful movement invite a deeper sense of restoration.

Wellness does not end when the treatment does. Across Niva, yoga and tennis invite movement at an unhurried pace inspiring connection with nature, while individual resorts add their own ways to explore and energise. At Niva Dhigali, guests can take to the water on a golden stand-up paddleboard or discover the resort’s paddle court, bringing a playful sense of movement to the island experience; at Niva Velassaru wellness-led dishes at Turquoise make nourishing choices part of the everyday rhythm. Elsewhere, strengthen and sculpt with Reformer Pilates and Barre; Reformer Pilates offers a full-body workout guided by gentle resistance, building core strength, improving posture and lengthening muscles with controlled, thoughtful movement; find precision at the Barre. Blending elements of ballet, Pilates and yoga, each sequence tones, energises and awakens the body through graceful, low-impact flow.

Ultimately, LIME Wellbeing is not about stepping away from island life but becoming more attuned to it. Whether suspended above the lagoon, tucked among jungle and granite, moving with the tide or simply slowing down beneath the palms, wellbeing at Niva is an invitation to slow down, breathe deeply and let the island set the pace.
